How to use 3 FPV Cameras on one FPV aircraft - Mini FPV Cam switcher

How to use 3 FPV cameras on one RC FPV plane and instantly switch video feeds between 3 cameras for even great FPV flight experience, is something one must learn to do. In this video I will show you the mini Cam Switcher and how handy this little piece of electronics available from various FPV sources is. Also I will show you how to make proper connections and how to use it with your Radio to switch video feed instantly between 3 cameras. Later I will put it on an FPV Plane or Multirotors with 3 different cameras. I plan to use GoPro Hero 3, and two other cameras where one will be connected to OSD and I will switch feeds between these cams during flight to let you experience a total new feeling of FPV. This is the newest and totally awesome 4 Channel electric mini FPV gilder from Volantex RC / Lanyu Hobby. This plane already took my heart from its very first flight and got my serious attention to modify it to be a new superb FPV platform. From the very first moment I hand launched this plane; it simply amazed me with its superb and very stable flight performance. This mini FPV glider does not use any kind of built in stabilization system, its totally manual simple 4 channel plane, yet it’s amazingly so stable that it makes the pilot feel like there is a high tech stabilization system built in. In this video I removed the stickers (they were causing horrible drag during flight) tweaked the servo setup and added a new 12Amp ESC Flashed with SimonK firmware and used 7.4v 800mAh lipoly. Motor and servos still stock from lany.

Well then, it was a total different animal with this personal setup of mine and not only plane was still ultimate stable but was faster, and more responsive to controls and throttle.

Next step is to put an FPV system on and give it a flight to see how good this plane is for FPV purposes.

A trip to Shantou to visit Lanyu Hobby Factory

We had a great trip to Shantou to visit Lanyo hobby and test the new awesome upcoming lanyu hobby planes. We had great time in Shantou city with Andy (owner of Lanyu Hobby) and his wife. We visited the factory, enjoyed time at sea side and enjoyed test flying the new upcoming Lanyu hobby planes. Enjoy this video and new planes testing flight videos will follow

Arish Ali First controlled Indoor RC Flights

Arish Ali was happy through out this journey as it was his first travel with parents (I and Maryam) he soon got close to Uncle Andy (Owner of Lanyu hobby and my best friend) when we were visiting the Lanyu Hobby Factory, there was this shelf with lots of mini Infrared planes that lanyu makes and we thought we should test Arish Ali’s RC Flying skills. This time Arish did a great job and took full control of the plane throttle all the time plus used the left and right control as well and had his first ever longest Indoor RC flights.

I am hoping Arish will soon learn to fly bigger planes and be my copilot or even better. Insha Allah. Enjoy this video and see him flying his little plane indoor with confidence.

RC Scaled Glider Lanyu Hobby ASW28 Test flight

This is the upcoming scaled glider from Lanyu Hobby, the ASW28. It a 2.5m wing span that is designed totally with strength and scaled looks. In this video I test flew it here in a park in Shantou city. I really like the way this glider is very responsive on controls. Motor is very powerful and it has not heating up issues unlike the old lanyu gliders. I am so much looking forward to getting this model in hands for further testing and reviews.
