OFM-800 Hexa Test Flight without Payload

OFM-800 Hexa Test Flight without Payload
Finally we found time from our busy schedule to test this big beast. This is the maiden flight without payload. It was running too light so it had wobbles and I had to use lots of gains to get over those wobbles. However in our next videos when we added camera mount and mounted DSLR camera (Payload) it was ultimate smooth on all flight controls. Without payload its fun to fly, it’s fast, agile and has tons of power. With a 4S 5000mAh we can get at least 8 minutes of flight time and after payload, we will need a 6S 5000mAh to get good flight time. Yet better add 2 of 6S 50000mAh batteries to get best flight time. No worries, this can still carry a DSLR after adding 2 of those 6S batteries.

We are flying it with simple DJI Naza M GPS system for now but highly recommended flight controllers for this beast are the YS-X6 from Zero Tech or WKM from DJI.

This platform will soon be available to order ARF from http://onlyflyingmachines.com for those who want to get a power yet very stable platform to carry DSLR Cameras in the air.
