SJRC Z5 is a mini folding GPS quadcopter with 1080P HD 5G WiFi camera. Its basically running the same flight controller offering very same features as the other SJRC WiFi FPV Quadcopters including SJRC F11. SJRC Z5 however is a Brushed geared Motors quadcopter that offers flight times up to 15 minutes on single battery. SJRC Z5 offers GPS Features like Position hold, altitude hold, Auto return to home and land, one click take off and land, Waypoints, Panorama, Follow me, object tracking and Gesture photo features. Its very easy to fly and most of the features actually work very well. During my test flights and review shooting I did find that its follow me has better performance compared to other similar WiFi FPV Quadcopters, however its Panorama was not too impressive. Quadcopter offers very good flight times and was total fun to fly.



On board HD Camera does a very good job but video results are not that impressive as all videos are recorded with slight jello and video quality is not too good. On the other hands, its still shot pictures quality is pretty good. You will like the pictures it takes. On windy day when Quadcopter is wobbling due to winds, it still takes very good still shots. 5G WiFi does a very good job sending 1080P HD Videos and high resolution pictures to your phone but the range on the WiFi is pretty disappointing. I got frozen video just after 40 to 50 meters away.



I also found that the Videos that were recorded on the phone using SJRC App had better resolution compared to videos that were recorded on TF Card in Quadcopter. So its basically good that you can share high resolution videos and pictures instantly from your phone.



All in All SJRC Z5 is a very good quadcopter for beginners and WiFi FPV Quadcopter lovers who are looking for a budget FPV Quadcopter to take good still shots.

Feiyue FY03H is the same 1/12th Scale 4WD Electric RC Desert buggy which has got some upgrades. now it comes in Brushless version and with metal shell plates. Brushless version does not offer more speed but does offer good power and performance out of same buggy. They also improve the differentials to metal planetary gears for better off road handling and performance. FY03H definitely has got better compared to its previous versions.

So finally I crashed my Flybot Flux at very high speed. I came hot, full throttle after a high altitude Line of sight dive and just a slight twitch of a finger plunged the high speed Flying wing into concrete. I hear the loudest RC plane crash bang of my RC life, see the wings coming off, fuselage and HD Camera rocketing away on the ground and that was it. I thought the plane is gone. Totaled. But I have to give it to Flybot team for designing the perfect RC FPV Racing Flying Wing. These guys must have been tired of crashing these. So they came up with this design that saves your FPV gear, and Wings. Upon any crash wings simply come off the flux FPV Racing wing and tough carbon fiber fuselage saves the day for you.

Unfortunately I am a dork and I was running camera on Time lapse mode without knowing it. But still you gotta enjoy the frames from the crash, and a good aftermath of what happened after the crash. Will the Flybot Flux still fly? Find out in the video.

Eachine Tyro79 is a 140mm 3 Inch DIY Version FPV Racing RC Drone that comes with F4 OSD, 20A BLHeli_S ESC and 700TVL FPV Camera, 5.8G 40CH 200mW VTX TBS Smart Audio Capable and propellers. You will need to build the kit and do remember soldering skills required to build this kit properly. Its a fairly easy build though. Do not go on User manual. Eachine User manual is nothing but a Time waster. There is no help in User manual. You can find more help on F4 OSD on goggle compared to user manual. Today there were some winds and I thought I should test how well the Volantex RC 759-3 Phoenex 2400 2.4 meter wing span glider will perform in slight winds. It was absolutely a joy to fly this glider and it gave me very good gliding and soaring performance despite of less winds in the area. I had good climbs on lowest throttles and good soaring today.
