How to modify your RC Icon A5

This is how you perform a serious modification on an RC Icon A5. I flew the plane. It flies superb but on very first flight, the nose landing gear broke. Then on very first take off from water, I found that rear landing gear actually interferes with floating, and bends out during landing. Also found that weight distribution was not right due to batteries installation space. So I grab my tools and start modifying my Icon A5. I have shed lots of weight by removing landing gear, landing gear servo. Made good space in the nose to install bigger battery, that now balances the CG Right and also distribution of weight is good. Plus installed a new 35 size motor to spin a 3 blade 12 inch props. Now this plane should fly better than before from water.

Stay tuned. Maiden flight videos coming soon to my channels.
